Overview

This MagCAD insert replaces the insert on compatible K-Edge mounts, allowing you to mount a Hammerhead Karoo 2 cycle computer.

The insert is pictured and tested with the K-Edge Race Mount. It will fit a number of other K-Edge mounts but not all. Therefore dimensions have been provided to confirm the fit before place your order. If in doubt get in contact.

Requires 2x M3 thread holes at 20mm spacing and a max inserted depth of 4.5mm. See attached photo for more dimensions.

Application

Fitting the MagCAD insert is a simple process. Simply remove the insert from your K-Edge mount with a 2mm Allen key and install the MagCAD insert with 2x M3x12mm countersunk screws, supplied.

Although four holes are present in the MagCAD insert, only two are needed to correctly secure it. Choose either the front/rear holes or the left/right holes depending on any additional mounts you have attached underneath your K-Edge mount.

To attach your Hammerhead device simply follow the same procedure as with the OEM Hammerhead mount, pulling the device backward onto the mount with a slight twist to centre and locate it. You should here a positive click when the device is attached. We recommend using the tether that's supplied with your Hammerhead device just for extra security.
